Re-Elect on Tuesday, August 27, 2024

  • Advanced a $132MM economic development investment to revitalize the Woodland Hills Mall area by bringing Scheels Sporting Goods to Oklahoma

  • Secured $51MM for street repairs, reconstruction, and widening projects right here in District 7.

  • Advocated to locate City of Tulsa's new Public Safety Center in District 7.

  • Increased communications with constituents utilizing social media, email blasts, virtual and in-person meetings.

  • Passed balanced, responsible budgets year after year

  • Continued to fully fund public safety including expanded recruitment and training plus $8.6MM in pay raises and salary adjustments for police officers and more than $12MM in equipment purchases and capital needs.

  • Expanded funding for the Community Response Team to launch the Alternative Response Teams (ART) to respond to emergency mental health crisis calls.

  • Negotiated rezoning efforts on key projects between constituents and developers across District 7.

  • Accelerated revitalization of commercial corridors and growth through redevelopment and rezoning.

  • Approved funding build and staff new Tulsa Animal Welfare services.

  • Championed quality, affordable housing for our families and seniors through direct action and policy work.

  • Supported funding for small businesses growth and sustainability.

  • Protected the health, safety and welfare of citizens throughout the pandemic.

  • Reformed the permitting process to help businesses launch, grow, and thrive.

  • Announced a public-private partnership to build a new 60-acre park in southeast Tulsa.

  • Increased intergovernmental relations with county, state, federal and tribal officials.

  • Served the citizens of Tulsa on the Tulsa Center for Performing Arts Trust and Vision Arts Grants Committee.

  • Led the Council as 2022 Chairwoman and currently serves on the Council Leadership Teams for the budget and human relations committees.

  • Serves on the Mayor's Task Force for Homelessness, Housing and Mental Health; Co-Chairs the Urban and Economic Development Committee; Founded the Residential Habitability Working Group as well as the Pre-Hospital Community Healthcare Working Group; serves as Vice Chair of the Tribal Nations Relations Committee and as a member of the Animal Welfare Working Group.
